Speech-Language Pathology Assistant/Associate Professor

Position Type: Full-Time, 9-Month Faculty Appointment
Mississippi University for Women invites applications for a full-time, 9-month faculty position in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology at open rank (Assistant or Associate Professor). This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic academic program through teaching, clinical supervision, and service. The successful candidate will engage with both undergraduate and graduate students while supporting the university’s mission of academic excellence and community impact.
Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in speech-language pathology
- Provide clinical supervision to students
- Advise and mentor students academically
- Participate in scholarly and professional activities
- Contribute service to the department, university, and community
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field (Ph.D. or Ed.D.); ABD candidates will be considered
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
- Eligibility for licensure through the Mississippi Department of Health
- Previous teaching experience preferred
